FAQ

• Q: When will you release the source?
• A: Probably, never. I intended to at least publish the main core source, but my programming style, formats and tools are so unorthodox that I would waste too much time converting the sources to make them barely understandable/compilable for someone else.
• Q: Can you add windowed mode?
• A: No. Get/develop a plugin (when the plugin API is available, that is).
• Q: Can you add feature X?
• A: No. Get/develop yourself a plugin and also (re)read the Manifesto.
• Q: When will a linux, OS X, etc. version be available?
• A: I'm the one who's most interested in dropping Windows, but I'm on a development impass, so you'll have to wait for either me getting a new development platform that fulfills all my coding needs, or me releasing the object code + API and someone else providing the necessary wrapper code.
• Q: I have a problem in my exotic setup.
• A: I'm not an expert in Windows repairs (thank goodness!). So make sure your system is healthy and up to date, google about your issues, and if you get a clear suspicion that it's a bug, please report it as a comment to the post announcing the release you're testing.
• Q: Will you answer emails or posts?
• A: I'd rather read comments on this blog provided they are not related to the questions on this FAQ and simply act upon them. I'm too verbose, rude and time-constrained for a healthy electronic social life.
• Q: Why are you so rude?
• A: I had to put up with too many wimpy PC fundamentalists and their utter bullshit for far too much time back in the Amiga era.
